How to receive SMS text notifications about your WAC orders!

A quick guide for setting up SMS text messaging

We are now happy to offer our Wild Alaskan Company members the option to receive SMS text notifications (alongside email notifications) regarding your orders! 📱

Should you like to receive SMS text notifications about your current order, here are the steps to set that up:

  1. Log in to your WAC Account here (if not logged in already)

  2. Click here to go to to the notifications section of your account settings page

    1. Here you will see the phone number we currently have on file for you and can edit it if need be

    2. Once your desired phone number has been entered, you'll want to click, "Send Verification Text" (pictured below).

  3. You will then receive a SMS text message from us -- respond with ‘C’ to confirm you would like to get these notifications from us 💬

  4. After responding “C” to the message on your phone, click “I have verified” on the notifications page. A confirmation message is displayed and provides instructions to opt in below.

  5. Once you have verified your number, click the button below TEXT (so that it turns from gray to green) and then click on ACCEPT & SAVE CHANGES

After the above steps have been completed you will receive text notifications when your order has been Shipped, when it has been Delivered, and in the off-chance there is a Delay in transit. 🎣

Some things to note:

  • You cannot make any changes to your membership or current order by replying to us via text (at this time, SMS text messages are used for notifications only). Should you like to communicate with our team you must reach out to us via email, chat or phone.

  • Should you like to stop receiving SMS text notifications you can text us at 855-877-3474 and type STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT 🛑

  • Should you like to restart SMS text notifications you can text us at 855-877-3474 and type START or UNSTOP ✅

  • Gift order recipients cannot receive SMS text notifications at this time

  • Only one phone number can be used for SMS text notifications at a time
