If you’re reading this, it’s likely because you noticed we’re now collecting sales tax on your orders. After the ruling by the Supreme Court in the 2018 case, South Dakota v. Each state has their own rules and charges their own rate. For example, some states charge lower sales tax rates or no sales tax at all for grocery items, like your wild-caught, sustainable seafood. And finally, the amount of sales tax you pay is always going to be dependent on your delivery address at the time your card is charged.
