We love giving our members variety with the opportunity to supplement their base box!
We regularly introduce new species and cuts to our offerings, typically available as either a Member Special or an Add-on. Member Specials are offered for a short time while supplies last, and can be purchased as a one-time addition to your usual box. Add-ons are offered year-round and can be purchased as a recurring addition to your box. The difference between the two really comes down to how much of each product we’re able to source under Alaska’s sustainability guidelines and our supply driven model 🌎

How to purchase an Add-on?
Add-ons are easily available from your Overview page. Under Order Details, select the orange VIEW ADD-ONS button.
You will then see a list of our current available add-ons! When you see an item you like, just select ADD TO BOX and it will be added to your plan going forward! Add-ons you currently have in your plan will be displayed with a green banner showing how many you have in your box.
Use the + and - buttons at the bottom to add or remove the add-ons of your choice. Your updated plan will then be shown on your My Box page 📦
💡Things to keep in mind:
Add-ons cannot be purchased on their own, they are only available as an addition to your box
Add-ons are recurring and can be changed anytime between renewals
If you just want more of your favorite species from your box, all our core species are available as a 2-pack Add-on
How to purchase a Member Special
Our current special is always featured on the dedicated Member Specials page.
Here’s how to locate the Member Specials page on our site! Once logged in, select the menu icon shaped like a person on the top right. Then, select MEMBER SPECIALS from the drop down menu.
Once on that Member Specials page, you can purchase our current special for your next box by selecting BUY NOW. When you purchase the Member Special, your card on file will be charged immediately and the special will be added to your next scheduled order. 📦 Prepaying for these items reserves your share of the limited supply, and ensures you will receive the special in your next box even if we sell out!
💡Things to keep in mind:
You can add as many units of the member special to your next order as you’d like, but due to the limited supply of these offerings we cannot add Member Specials as a recurring addition to all future boxes
Member specials do not ship out on their own and cannot be purchased a la carte outside of a regular box. When purchased, they are automatically added to your next scheduled order. You can always change your shipping schedule to move that next order earlier or later.
Be sure to keep an eye on your emails to hear about incoming specials! We will oftentimes alert our members about new offerings via email.
We only feature one special on the Member Specials page at a time, but we often have other offerings available by request while supplies last. If you’re craving something special and don’t see it on the website, feel free to check with our team!
