We regularly introduce new species and cuts to our offerings, typically available as either a Limited-Time Product or Essential Product. Limited-Time Products are offered for a short time while supplies last, and can be added as a one-time addition to your subscription box. Essential Products are offered year-round and are purchased as a recurring addition to your box. You are able to make adjustments to add or remove these items at any time.

The difference between the two really comes down to how much of each product we’re able to source under Alaska’s sustainability guidelines and our supply-driven model. 🌎

How to purchase an Essential Product:

Essential Products are easily available from your My Plan page or Shop Seafood page. On the My Plan page, click "Customize My Plan." On the Shop Seafood page, click on the "Essential Products" tab.

You will then see a list of our Essential Products! When you see an item you like, just select +ADD and it will be added to your plan going forward! Essential Products you currently have in your plan will be displayed with the quantity currently included in your order. Click the trash can icon to remove at any time, or the + button to add more.

Your updated plan will then be shown on your My Orders page. 📦

💡Things to keep in mind:

  • Essential Products are recurring but can be changed anytime between renewals.

  • If you just want more of your favorite species from your box, all our core species are available as a 2-pack Essential Product.

How to purchase a Limited-Time Product:

Our current specials are always featured on the Shop Seafood page.

Here’s how to locate the Limited-Time Products page on our site!

Mobile device: Once logged in, select the icon on the bottom of your screen that looks like a shopping bag. Then, scroll to the Limited-Time Products tab.

Desktop: Once logged in, head to your Shop Seafood page.

Limited-Time Products rotate based on availability. Add a special to your cart by clicking +ADD. You can use the + button if you want more than one. Once the item is in your cart, we will hold it for you and charge you for the special on your next renewal date, which must be on or before the last availability date listed with the Limited-Time Product.

💡Things to keep in mind:

  • You can add as many units of the Limited-Time Product to your next order as you’d like, but due to the limited supply of these offerings we cannot provide Limited-Time Products as a recurring addition to all future boxes.

  • Keep an eye on your emails to hear about incoming specials! We will oftentimes alert our members about new offerings via email. Make sure you’re in the loop by turning on your “New Products & Promotions” notices from the Notifications Setting page.
